Highway 1 road trip was DOPE. Open road, gorgeous scenery, tasty eats, the simple novelty of driving (no really! 7 years since I owned a car), and a hilariously inept/charming public radio station cranking funky Xmas tunes...tough to beat. If you guys ever have the chance, that stretch from Monterey to Hearst Castle is just fantastic.
