ØMuseum and Exhibitions
» Albertina:all most famous painting you have ever heard of from EUR are in this Museum
Modern and fresh; in general they have 3 exhibitions at the same time currently Monet to Picasso.
» Museum of Fine Arts("Kunsthistorisches Museum"): Beautiful building

» Kunst Haus Wien (Museum Hundertwasser);
Bright splashes of color, irregular forms and an abundance of green – there’s no mistaking Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser’s Kunst Haus Wien. Within the Kunst Haus Wien you find the Museum Hundertwasser, which presents a unique cross-section of the oeuvre of the Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928-2000), including keypaintings as well as graphic works, applied art, architectural designs and examples of the artist´s ecological commitment.
» Natural History Museum
The Natural History Museum Vienna is home to world-famous and unique objects, such as the 29,500-year-old Venus of Willendorf, the Steller’s sea cow that became extinct over 200 years ago, and enormous dinosaur skeletons. Further highlights in the 39 exhibit halls include the world’s largest and oldest public collection of meteorites, including the spectacular “Tissint” meteorite from Mars, as well as the new permanent anthropological exhibition on the origins and development of humans.
However, time does not stand still. That is why on the occasion of the museum’s 125th anniversary a new Digital Planetarium has been opened, featuring fulldome projection technology that will give visitors the chance to embark on fascinating virtual journeys in stunning scientific detail to the edge of the Milky Way galaxy or Saturn’s rings
» Treasury
One of the world’s foremost treasuries is located in the oldest part of the Vienna Hofburg Palace, the so-called Swiss wing. The treasury is divided into two parts: the ecclesiastical and the secular area. It is home not only to the imperial crown of the Holy Roman Empire and the imperial crown of Austria, but also houses the Burgundian Inheritance, which dates back to the 15th century, and the Order of the Golden Fleece.
>Sigmund Freud Museum
Freud lived and worked at 19, Berggasse in the 9th district for almost half a century. The museum, housed in the rooms of Freud’s former practice and living quarters, features a fine exhibition highlighting the private as well as professional life of the Father of Psychoanalysis.
In the practice’s former waiting-room one may view original furniture and parts of Freud’s collection of antiquities, donated by Anna Freud to the museum which was opened in her presence in 1971.

offers as well plenty of options : What's on in Vienna? - Overview of Cultural Events
My special one: The Burgtheater (en: (Imperial) Court Theatre; In Europe only the Comédie-Française is older than this one. The stage of the Burgtheater is one of the biggest theatre stages in the world. The stage portal is 12m wide, the main stage is 28.5m wide, 23m deep and 28m high. At the opening in 1888 the stage technology was already innovatory and has been modernized on many occasions. During the reconstruction after World War II, which was accomplished in 1955, a stage equipment was installed that is still revolutionary today. Scenery can be changed within 40 seconds. It is the biggest automatic and computer controlled stagesystem in Europe. They offer as well daily tours to visit.

Steirereck
10thbest restaurant in the world :
What’s the vibe? Housed in a monolithic glass cube in Vienna’s Stadtpark, Steirereck’s design may be super-modern but the interior speaks a recognisable language of international fine dining. It’s a bright, tranquil vision of wood, concrete and starched white table linen.
Typical dishes: Reitbauer’s signature says everything you need to know about his outlook, being equal parts culinary theatre, precise technique and obvious reverence of local ingredients. The freshwater mountain fish, char, is cooked at the table in hot beeswax before being returned on a plate with yellow carrot, pollen and sour cream.
Zum Schwarzen Kamel
in the heart of the first Viennese district is a microcosm of Viennese culinary pleasures with a century-old tradition. Bar, restaurant, beletage, delicatessen and patisserie in a historic art nouveau ambience.

While you will most likely see the Emperor ´s Winter palace in the city on Saturday you could take a longer trip to the Emperor´s Summer palace in front of Vienna (30 min trip by Taxi ).
Ø St. Stephen´s Cathedral in the Centre
The most important religious building in Vienna, St. Stephen's Cathedral has borne witness to many important events in Habsburg and Austrian history and has, with its multi-coloured tile roof, become one of the city's most recognizable symbols (you will have dinner opposite to it on Saturday )

If you are looking for something : this used to be a nice place “Albertina Passage” Stylish and elegant , 5 Min from the Hotel
Have to admit was not there for a longer time.
Recommend to have the hotel reception to make a reservation before you go there
Lounge is only open from Thursday to Saturday and opens as of 20h. It is one the left side beside the
State opera… it goes downstairs, do not look for a building just for an entrance.
Or less “chic” but great view over Vienna: “Dachboden” on top of the 25hrs hotel
Down stairs is a nice Italian Restaurant, as well only 5 Min (taxi) from the hotel
and recommend reservation . Open as of 15h every day.
